Local Attractions
The North Cornwall coast has a wealth of good safe beaches ideal for both young children and surfers alike. Harlyn Bay is approximately 5 miles (10 minute drive) from Trevorrick, as is Trevone bay. Other beaches nearby include St Georges Well/Harbour Cove (the closest beaches to Padstow), Constantine Bay, Treyarnon Bay and Porthcothan Bay (all west of Padstow) and Hayle Bay, Daymer Bay and Rock (all to the east of Padstow).
The Eden project, in the china clay country near St Austell, is about a 17 mile (35 minute) drive from Trevorrick. Since it's opening a year ago, the pace of development and growth has been massive. We were amazed at just how much it had changed after our recent return visit.
The historic harbour of Padstow is only four miles by road, closer by footpath from Trevorrick (about a 2-2.5 mile, 45 minute walk).
