THE BOOKING CONDITIONS

 

You undertake to take care of the property that you are renting and will pay for any articles damaged or lost. You will leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, failure to do so will incur an additional cleaning charge, and will vacate the property and return the keys to the owners by the time stated above and will settle any outstanding accounts prior to your departure. Please note that an optional cleaning service is available if requested before departure at a cost of £15 for a one bedroom cottage or £25 for a two bedroom cottage.

 

A returnable "key" deposit of £50 is payable for each cottage booked. This can be paid as part of your final payment or by cash on arrival. Please note that we will be unable to give you access to your cottage unless the deposit has been paid. The deposit will be returned by cheque following your departure or by credit to your debit or credit card, less any deductions for breakages, damage or any additional cleaning charge (in event cottage is not left clean and tidy) within 7 working days after departure.

 

The owners reserve the right to enter the property at any time should maintenance or other circumstances make it necessary to do so.

 

Pets are allowed in certain cottages by prior arrangement subject to their owner accepting liability for any damage that they may do and on the condition that they are exercised away from the gardens, not they are under control at all times and that they are not left unattended in the property nor allowed in bedrooms or on furniture. Pet owners are expected to bring suitable bedding for their animals and feeding dishes.

 

The Applicant certifies that he or she has signed the Booking Form on behalf of all persons in the party who will occupy the property during the period booked and that they are all aware, apart from infants, of the Booking Conditions. The brochure description of the property clearly indicates the maximum number of guests who may occupy it. Exceeding this number, without the owners written approval, constitutes a breach of contract and the Owners have the right to terminate the booking forthwith with all monies paid, or due, being forfeited.

 

If the full rental has not been paid 28 days prior to the commencement of the letting period, then the booking is deemed to be cancelled and the deposit is forfeited and the Applicant remains liable for the full amount of the final payment. The Owners will offer the accommodation for let once more at whatever price they feel appropriate. In the event of a re-let any payment to the Applicant is entirely at the owners discretion and would be subject to any administration charge.

 

The use of any amenities provided by the owners is entirely at the users risk and no responsibility can be accepted for any injuries to persons or loss or damage to any belongings of persons who use them. Further, the Owners or their servants will not be liable for any act, neglect or default on the part of the Owners or any other person. The Owners will not be liable for any accident, damage, loss, injury however caused. Parents are responsible at all times for their children.

 

The applicant agrees that all members of his party will abide by the conditions of pool useage that the owners have in place at the time of their stay to meet health and safety requirements and understands that non-observance of these rules will lead to withdrawal of this facility for the whole party for the duration of their stay without compensation.

 

If the property should not be available owing to damage by fire or storm or for any other reason so that the Owners are not able to comply with this agreement, the Owners shall refund to the Applicant the full amount of the monies paid to the Owners and the Owners liability is limited to the refunding of such monies. When you book your holiday you are entering into a legally binding contract. If you are forced to cancel or cut short your holiday, for whatever reason, under the law you will be liable for the full cost of the holiday. Refunds can only be made in the event that we are able to re-let the property; any costs incurred in re-letting the property will be deducted.  All contracts are deemed to have been made in Cornwall and are in accordance with English law. For your protection we advise that you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

 

Declaration: I declare that I am over 18 years of age and I agree that this booking is made in accordance with the conditions above and I agree to be held responsible for all charges.
