A popular cottage for couples, Lily Pad is an attractive single storey cottage converted from old stone and slate stores, with a lovely view over fields down to the Little Petherick Creek from the bedroom window. The entrance, through the ever popular stable door, leads into a comfortable lounge. This has two generous 2-seater sofas to snuggle into, in front of the romantic log-buring stove. For entertainment the TV also has a DVD and video player with a selection of classic videos. There is also a CD player and plenty of board games.
The cottage is open plan, with the kitchen and dining area are at one end. The kitchen, which is finished in solid ash, is fully equipped with fridge freezer, microwave etc and the ample dining room table comfortably accommodates 4 chairs. Crockery is a timeless Poole pottery design.
This room leads through into the bedroom, which has a feature pine boarded vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and a 5' double bed for that touch of romance. The bathroom is en-suite and has a quality thermostatic shower over the bath. Many of the walls have been retained in their natural stone finish to enhance the 'rustic'; look.
Through the gate, see below, there is a grassy area with picnic benches to enjoy the lovely views over the creek as far as the Camel Estuary and over to Rock.
