Our quality self catering holiday cottages are situated in a stunning and peaceful location in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AoNB), yet with two good pub/restaurants within one mile and just 4 miles by road from Padstow fishing village.
Only a 15 minute drive to fabulous sandy beaches on the north coast of Cornwall. To the west of Padstow are a whole series of sandy coves, suitable for surfing, sand castle making, rock pooling or relaxing - everyone has their own favourite!
Enjoy the fabulous views over the Camel Estuary to Rock from our farm.
Walk along an excellent network of footpaths, or cycle along quiet lanes to the Camel Trail and Padstow.
Padstow is just a 2.5 miles or 45 minute walk away - the views are stunning.
Alternatively walk through our fields to Little Petherick Creek, the only wooded creek in North Cornwall – tidal and beautiful. Take the public footpath along it to join the Saints Way footpath to Padstow harbour.
Appreciate the fabulous wildlife on your doorstep. Curlews, herons, little egrets, buzzards, or even a glimpse of a kingfisher along the creek. Swallows, house martins, bats and resident barn owls around the farm and tawney owls nearby. Active badger setts on our doorstep along the creek.
Come and see spring flowers - wild primroses, bluebells, bright yellow gorse followed by foxgloves, orchids, valarium and many species of butterflies.
Take a moment to savour real starry nights and meteor showers (certain times only!).
So beautiful and peaceful here you may not want to use the car, but if you do we are an ideal touring base for the rest of Cornwall. - St Ives one hour, Lands End less than 1.5 hours, Eden 35 minutes.
