Serendipity is always popular with families with young children as it is all on one level with no
steps. It is almost suitable for people with limited mobility (please phone to discuss suitability),
and is probably also the most suitable cottage for 2 couples. It is a spacious single storey cottage,
with attractive bow windows in the lounge and master bedroom, converted from old stone and slate stores
and overlooking the gardens. It is fully double glazed and well insulated. It has full central heating
fed from our state-of-the-art biomass wood pellet system.
The entrance, through the stable door, leads into the spacious lounge which has an exposed Cornish slate
wall with a cosy log burner stove. With flat screen LED TV and Google TV streaming. A selection of books and board
games are provided and toys selected appropriate to the age of your children.
The cottage is open plan, and with windows on both sides, it gets extra light. The kitchen and dining area
are at one end. The kitchen is fitted in white country-style units with solid beech work surfaces and
attractive coloured tiling. The kitchen is well equipped with a fan-assisted ceramic hob cooker with
separate grill, microwave and fridge/freezer, and all the things you may need down to items such as a
cafetiere and garlic press. Feature lighting is provided by an overhead LED 4 spot bar and under cupboard
lighting over the worktops. Crockery is a timeless Poole pottery design.
The beautifully finished Ercol elm dining table comfortably seats 4. There is a high quality reclining Stressless three seat sofa plus matching chair in soft brown leather.
The master bedroom is finished in shabby chic style, with a king sized iron framed bed with thick mattress.
The flooring is barn oak effect laminate. The second bedroom has twin beds. As both bedrooms are large,
either can accommodate a cot if required. The bathroom has a quality thermostatic Mira shower over the bath
with the hot water on mains pressure.
Patio furniture is provided on an exclusive trellised half moon shape terrace in front of the cottage.
