A unique single storey cottage converted from an old round house in which the grain was ground with a donkey driving a central mill stone. This was a common feature on many old Cornish farms, and the remaining big wooden beams give the cottage great charm.

Romantic cottage... The cottage has a stable door leading into a new separate kitchen area, which is fitted in stunning gloss white units with grey 'concrete' work surfaces and attractive lime splash back. The kitchen is well equipped with a built in AEG double oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher and all the things you may need down to a cafetiere and garlic press.

Leading from the kitchen, the attractive semi-circular living room has an impressive vaulted ceiling (illuminated with concealed LED lighting) with some original exposed beams. Suspended tension wire (Paulmann) directional LED lighting provides illumination for reading. Built in Bluetooth speakers and a Cornish slate wood burning open fireplace are there to help create the ambience you desire. For dining there is a delightful iron framed, wood topped table with 4 matching chairs, and a matching dresser.

The cottage has two reclining leather Ekornes Stressless sofas (one two seater and the second a three seater), arranged around the fireplace and LED television with Google TV (for streaming). Double glazed French doors from the living room open onto a small south facing fenced garden with extensive views overlooking open farmland, St Breock Downs and the Little Petherick Creek valley. Patio furniture is provided for guests use.

The charming double bedroom has hand crafted solid wood furniture in a Provence shabby chic style, with a king size brassed iron bed with a deep sumptuous mattress. The bathroom is fitted with a quality thermostatic mixer shower over the bath, vanity light with shaver adapter and a large towel radiator. The cottage is fully double glazed and centrally heated.
