With stunning views of the Camel Estuary, it’s a peaceful spot for a relaxed beach day. An easy walk from Padstow, especially at low tide. 4 Miles Away

A short walk from Harbour Cove, Hawker’s Cove is a quieter beach with expansive sands at low tide. It’s perfect for family walks along the shore and exploring rock pools. The beach offers beautiful views and a more secluded option away from the busier spots, as equally no facilities. One can also park near Harbour Cove and walk from there.

Trevone Bay

Possibly our guests favourite, Trevone Bay is a Blue Flag-awarded beach known for its golden sands and safe, shallow waters, making it ideal for families with young children. The beach is also great for rock pooling and bodyboarding, offering a mix of activities for a fun family day by the sea. There is a great shop and cafe, which also serves lovely pizza, and a quieter rocky beach to the left which we think is best beach for collecting shells in Cornwall.

Harlyn Bay

6 Miles Away

Harlyn Bay is a family favorite with its wide sandy beach and gentle surf. It’s perfect for swimming, bodyboarding, and surfing lessons, while the nearby dunes provide plenty of space for picnics and play. As Trevone, lifeguards in summer make it a safe option for families who want to use the sea. There’s a great surf school, with lessons for all ages from fun sessions for 5 to 7 years old, to adults who want to get serious.

Although it’s on the other side of the estuary, Daymer Bay is popular with many and a beautiful, sheltered beach perfect for families, with its shallow waters and soft sands.
