We are near North Cornwall’s beautiful sandy beaches and scenic coastline, our Cornish farm is a perfect base for an enjoyable and relaxing family holiday or a romantic break for two. Our range of cottages on our mini working farm, are a perfect base for your farm stay in Cornwall.
Couples are often looking for a quiet, maybe romantic, cottage with some creature comforts. We have the Old Round House with an open log fire and private hot tub and Lily Pad cottage, with a log burner and also with it’s own private hot tub, which are particularly suitable for couples.
We have given a great deal of thought to offer a fantastic family holiday for school age children and young adults.
We have our heated indoor swimming pool and outside play areas including a large 14′ trampoline and basket swing for older children to have a bit of fun.
Older children love to take part in the animal feeding and handling experience too.
Nearby, we have some fantastic surfing beaches, watersports activites, boat trips, cycle trails and footpaths.

Our cottages are all unique. On individual cottage pages we have a 3D virtual tour so that you can ‘walk’ around the cottage before you arrive.

Padstow has a Tesco supermarket (4 miles) and smaller shops in the old town (Spar, bakeries, fashion clothing, books, coffee, etc)
Wadebridge has a number of supermarkets: Tesco, Aldi, B&M (5 miles), Lidl, Co-op and a good range of independent shops from bakeries, coffee, phone repairs, bikes.
Our nearest pub restaurant in the Pickwick Inn, only 0.5 miles from us. It’s very good too.
In the village of St Issey, we have a good community pub The Ring o’Bells (1 mile).
We have the Journeyman restaurant in Melligey nearby.

We make up the beds freshly for you for the numbers shown on your booking. Towels for use in your cottage are also provided.
You will need to bring towels for the hot tub, swimming or the beach.
Our cottage are self catering. We provide ‘starters’ for kitchen paper towel, washing up liquid, bin bags, toilet rolls.
We have free parking on site based on one car per cottage. If your party will be bringing more than one car for cottage, or a trailer, please let us know in advance so that we can best accommodate you.
Our WiFi and internet service is fast.
We have a business fibre to the premises (FTTP) service with a quoted speed of 900Mbps (download). Our cottages are connected to this by ethernet with WiFi6 access points within each cottage.
We can provide dog friendly stays in some, but not all of our cottages.
We are 1 mile from an hourly bus service running from Bodmin Parkway to Wadebridge, St Isssey, Little Petherick and on to Padstow.

Yes, we do offer short breaks at quieter times of the year and also at short notice. Please check our availability or send us an enquiry.
Our changeover days are usually either Friday or Saturday. This is so that we can manage not only the cleaning, but also so that we are available to meet and greet you when you arrive.
At quieter times, we may be able to offer other changeover days.
Our arrival time is after 16:30. We can accept late arrivals, but please check with us and it’s always helpful to keep us updated if you are running late.
Our departure time is by 10:00.
You’re welcome to have friends or family come over, within reason.
We must ensure cottages are not ‘overloaded’. Also, in fairness to other guests and to meet our insurance obligations, we cannot allow visiting friends and family to use our facilities (swimming pool, hot tub, trampoline or other play equipment).
We do not allow additional people to stay who are not named on the booking form.
Many guests make use of supermarket deliveries. If you would like to arrange a delivery, please make sure you are here to receive it!
We have a communal ‘Wash House’ which has a washing machine and tumble drier. We have rotary driers outside and all cottages have drying racks (best used outside where possible).
We have an outside tap and short hose for rinsing wet suits and beach things.

We do not provide replacement fresh towels or bed linen for week stays. For two week stays, you will be offered replacement fresh towels and bed linen at the start of your second week.
Please bring additional bed linen and waterproof protectors if you think your bedding may get soiled.
We suggest lots of things to do on our website in the local area, Padstow, Padstow Mayday, Places to Eat, Beaches nearby, Family Days Out, Walking Routes and of course things to do on those Rainy Days.
The local beaches are fantastic. Soft sand, gently sloping and mostly with Life Guards during the summer season.
We can all forget things. If you do, let us know as soon as possible so that we can not only find it, but also know it belongs to you. We will ask you to arrange a Royal Mail tracked collection from our doorstep at a convenient time so that it can find it’s way safely back to you.
Yes, we have a heated indoor swimming pool which we have open from the Easter holiday to the end of October.
Yes, three of our cottages have their own private hot tubs. They are: Lily Pad cottage, Badgers Way cottage and the Old Round House.
No we do not allow smoking or vaping in the cottages, in any indoor area or the outside play areas on site.
Yes, we have a barbeque which you are welcome to use. All we ask if that you return it clean and provide your own briquettes and lighting.
Yes, we have three 7.2kW EV chargers. You are welcome to use one of these. Electricity is charged at £0.35 / kWh with consumption being logged automatically on the EV charger.
It’s helpful if you let us know in advance if you have an EV, so that we can arrange suitable parking.
We do not allow ‘granny’ charging leads to be used.

We are one mile along a fairly quiet no through road from the village of St Issey. St Issey has a regular bus service to Wadebridge and Bodmin in one direction and Padstow in the other.
Our usual changeover days are Friday (for Lily Pad, Serendipity and Badgers Way cottages) and Saturday (for Curlew, Owls Roost, Old Round House and Credis View).
We cannot greet guests earlier than 16:30 as we freshly prepare the cottages ourselves.
Departure is strictly by 10:00, again as we prepare the cottages for the next guests ourselves.
You are welcome to have two or three friends/family come over to visit. It is helpful to let us know so that we can avoid any ‘stray’ visitors for the benefit of everyone’s safety.
Any visiting friends or family not permitted to use our play equipment, hot tubs or swimming pool, or to stay overnight.
Many guests find it very convenient to arrange a supermarket delivery (Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda and Waitrose offer this service). However, please make sure the delivery is arranged for after when you will be in your cottage, allowing for any traffic hold ups!
