At Trevorrick, we aim to make your family stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible We like to think we go the extra mile. It starts as soon as you enter your cottage. Toddlers and younger children will be thrilled by the great range of indoor toys Melanie carefully chooses for your little ones and which you will find in your cottage for arrival.
We hope we have everything you would expect for peace of mind and to reduce packing, and more. We usually firm up with guests about what they need in their accommodation around five days before arrival, children grow so quickly that often needs change between booking and coming, but don’t worry we usually have plenty of everything below!
We provide stair gates in two-story cottages (Owls Roost and Curlew) and across kitchen areas of Badgers Way and Old Round House. Single-story cottage options are available for families wishing to avoid stairs.
Play
As much fun as there is outside here at Trevorrick, we know there’ll be times that you just need to find some entertainment for your little ones inside your cottage. We can provide baby bouncers and play gyms, children’s books, puzzles, and toys for ages up to around 8 including baby toys, Duplo, wooden railway, Meccano, figures, Little People, dolls houses and more. Please ask for anything you need.
Sleeping Essentials
The switch from home can be a tricky one so we’ve got lots of kit to help you all sleep as comfortably as possible. Including: cots (wooden in the two bedroom cottages and travel cots in one bedroom cottages and Credis View) – please bring your own linen for safety and hygiene. Night lights, baby monitors, waterproof sheets, bed guards, and ladder guard for the bunkbed in Owl’s Roost. Black out curtains are provided in all twin rooms.
We’ve also got everything you could need for a family feast with bigger kids as well as the tiny ones. Think highchairs, booster seats, and child-friendly plastic plates, bowls cups and cutlery. If you’re visiting with babies, you’ll find everything you need to prepare their food and milk including blenders and sterilisers.

Bathtime
Everyone knows that baby bath time comes with a whole lot of paraphernalia! Save the space in the car, we’ve got you covered. We’ve got everything you could need for a fun, safe, splashy bath time for everyone. You’ll find baby baths, bath supports and non-slip mats. If you’re in the depths of potty training, we can provide potties and toddler seats for the loo too.
Outdoor Adventures
It wouldn’t be a Cornish holiday without a good dose of outdoorsing. We’ve everything you might need for exploring our lovely corner of Kernow with every member of the family. We can loan you front and back carriers for babies and lightweight buggies, our well loved welly “library” (approximate sizes child 4 to adult 3) will get you ready for exploring the grounds or animal feeding and we’ve got all the beach gear including buckets and spades and crab lines.
