Explore Our Play Farm World

We have a truly special range of bespoke farm play equipment designed to get your little ones conjuring up all kinds of creative farm play…we can’t promise you won’t want to get involved!

The Play Farm Shop Van
Step into our charming Play Farm Shop Van, where kids can pretend to sell fresh produce, weigh vegetables, or tally up their imaginary earnings at the till. It’s a fun, interactive way to spark creativity and role-playing skills.

Originally, and cleverly, designed specifically for us, the Padstow Town Council play park near The Lawns car park, now have a play farm van too!

I wanted this as a more “girly” vehicle, but boys love it just as much.

The Play Tractor
Our large-sized Play Tractor is the perfect centerpiece for any little farmer’s adventure. With realistic details and plenty of room to climb, this robust structure is a favorite for kids looking to “drive” their way into hours of farmyard fun.

When I wanted to buy one I made mistake of asking Mike, and he said “no”, even though we’d “only” got the play combine harvester at the time. So I ordered it to arrive on his birthday! After seeing how much fun guest’s children have on it, he did not say no when I told him we were buying the land rover and farm shop van! You will find the same play tractor at the Pickwick Inn just along the road, but we got ours first!

The Play Combine Harvester
Harvest the fun with our Play Combine Harvester! This impressive and very large piece of equipment is packed with imaginative features, offering children the chance to climb, explore, and learn about farming machinery in a playful way.

It was the first play vehicle we bought, and we bought it when our now grown up children were quite little, as the largest in the range so as to appeal to the greatest age range of children, with a ladder into the cab, an internal ladder and a big slide.

The Play Land Rover
Adventure awaits in our Play Land Rover! Designed to look just like the real thing, this iconic farm vehicle, invites kids to hop in, pretend to drive, and embark on endless off-road journeys around the farm.

We went for the roofless version, so there is plenty of room for parents to sit in the back whilst the children “drive” to their heart’s content.

And don’t forget……..

The Play Trains

Ok, it’s not farm related, but we also have a large play train, also made by Outdoor Play People. And it has two steering wheels so no fighting. The play train and the play tractor are situated in our large “sheep playing field”. Over the summer we keep some tame sheep and lambs in there for our guests to meet, and they often jump in and out of the play train and tractor!!!! Who says animals can’t play also!

We also have a mini Farm themed train with two carriages in our main play area, this one made in Devon, great for budding toddler-farmers. And we have two matching benches with farm animal ends, for parents to sit on which they watch their children having so much fun!

Lamb Scanning at Heligan

We love The Lost Gardens of Heligan and their annual lambing adventures. They schedule the lambs to be born around Easter and there are so many ways to get up close to those lovely little babes.
